We are keen to help people get started, and recognise we are all learning together. There are ever longer queues for allotment space (twice as many people waiting for sites as having a space in both Bournemouth and Poole), and a burgeoning interest in growing food locally, whether with the aim of reducing food miles, saving money, or just for people to know that pesticides and GM seeds have not been used.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Schools<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Since 2002 we have welcomed a variety of groups from local schools onto the site. We were priviliged to have Brigit Strawbridge come to visit the site, and a steady flow of interested people throughout the day. We hope to hold an open day at the site in May 2011 as the Big Green Fortnight comes around again.<\/p>\n<h2>Land Project<\/h2>\n<p>Tatnam Organic Patch is proud to have been adopted in 2009 as a Land Project, under the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.permaculture.org.uk\/whats-going-on\/association-work\/land-project\">Permaculture Association Land Project scheme<\/a>, a permaculture learning and demonstration network supported by online services and information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members and visitors We welcome both visitors and members with or without experience of Organic gardening.
